Synopsis

Follow the trickery and antics of Hyena and Rabbit as they try to out-wit each other in this collection of hilarious traditional tales from West Africa.

Author’s note

“I lived in Burkina Faso for fourteen years, working among Fulani cattle herders. In the evenings, they would sit around a fire and tell stories about bush animals. These stories often involved crafty Rabbit outwitting greedy Hyena.“
